A number of musicians and singers will be joining hands tomorrow, Sunday October 2, to perform for former football star Vincent Philip ‘Tolor’ Dorasamy who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Felix Lawen is the man behind tomorrow’s event at the Waterfront Café.
Mr Lawen told Seychelles NATION that artists like Channel Francourt, Anthony Hoareau, Antoine Souris, Aaron Jean, Mayos, Vivian Amelie, André ‘Scale’ Sinon, Jean ‘Jahrimba’ Marimba and Jean-Marc Volcy will perform on the day for the former player who had scored a number of goals from free-kicks.
“We count on the support of ex-footballers and those who are still playing to bring their support so that we can raise more funds for ‘Tolor’. He was an exceptional player with an ability to score from long range free kicks. Wear your St Louis t-shirts and let’s paint the waterfront blue on Sunday,” Mr Lawen told Seychelles NATION.
The rendez-vous is tomorrow from 12 noon to 7pm at the Waterfront Café. There will be a raffle with interesting prizes to be won.
See you all there!
Meanwhile, today is International Music Day. Seychelles NATION newspaper and the National Arts and Crafts Council (NACC) wish all musicians a very happy World Music Day!
Keep composing as they say that life without music is like food without salt – bland and tasteless.
